Tea & Conversation with Pastor Ian & Ivy Dennert
Over a lovely cup of tea and some baked goodies, I recently spent a pleasant Friday morning with Living Waters’ legends of the faith, Pastor Ian and Ivy Dennert, privileged to learn a little of their story. I managed to glean a few tips regarding success in life and ministry, including how to attract the attention of the woman you believe God wants you to marry – but we’ll get to that later.
Reverence, enduring as it may be, is a concept seldom discussed these days and the practise of reverence in attitude or action toward anyone or anything is a rarity in the culture in which we live.
We must Remain.
Psalm 92:13-15 is one of my favourite passages of scripture “planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
How do we learn to love others well, to practice what often cuts across our human nature and our instinctive reactions?
Do we really know what love is? Or to rephrase the question, do we really know WHO love is?
